  • 1 -- (3-pound) pie or cooking pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • -- Salt and pepper
  • -- Garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Cut pumpkin in half and scoop out seeds. Cut halves in to 1-inch wedges. Toss with remaining ingredients. Bake 30 to 45 minutes, or until pumpkin is tender.
