Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 minced jalapeno pepper, seeds and stems removed
  • 1/2 white onion, minced (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 medium tomato, diced and seeds removed

Instructions

1. Mash avocado with a fork, leaving some texture. Add remaining ingredients. Mix lightly and pile into a bowl. Serves 8.
